Typhoon in Taiwan

On September 29, 2016 Taiwan, the phillipines was hit with typhoon mega. The results of this so far have caused eight deaths and over 30 million dollars in damages. More than 625 people have been injured as a result to this as well. Along with Taiwan this has also affected areas of the Carolina islands, Ryukyu islands, Taiwan, east, and south china. As of now it is nog known how long it will take to get back on track there, but it is not just important to the affected areas for them to recover. Because of this disaster more than 300 flights in and out of Taiwan have been cancelled and it is virtually cut off from the outside world. This means they cannot do any business with outside organizations which will make it even harder for them recover. I believe that everyone in the effected area is going to have to put in some sort of effort in order to recover and become economically stable again, reguardless of their background, its for the benefit of the community as a while.
Kashmir Earthquake of 2005

On October 8th, 2005 an earthquake reaching the magnitude of 7.6 hit Kashmir, a region in the middle east controlled partially by Pakistan, partially by India and Afghanistan. As a result, more than 80,000 people died and an estimated 4 million others were left homeless. This earthquake took place shortly after 8 am. Kashmir is located at the Junction of the Eurasia and Indian tectonic plates, the collisions of which caused the formation of the Himalaya mountains, making it prone to intense seismic activity.

This was one of the worst earthquakes to hit this region. it devastated the infrastructure throughout the area and people were completely cut off from the outside world. There was no longer even a local economy because everything was gone. All the buildings were destroyed for the most part and it the buildings were not, then the roads were, and no one could get anywhere to do anything.
